| Wireless e-mail allows all the pieces of your mobile network strategy to fall into place. |
- Synchronize smoothly with existing enterprise software
- Rely on one server support for all platforms
- No middleware required
|
An easily integrated solution |
Implement wireless e-mail technology on most systems for a common solution for all mobile purposes.
DirectPush “out of the box” technology eliminates third party providers, streamlining management and effectively decreasing risk of outside corruption. Monitoring tools smoothly integrate with existing office networks to update security solutions and guarantee safe standards-based web protocols.
The Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 delivers smart, intuitive support, attuned to individual messaging needs. Persistent memory and split-second responses reduce back-up and recovery times. It’s fast and intelligent, so it’s no wonder; it saves money too – more than 30% in e-mail server consolidation. |

The wireless e-mail process - how it works |
- Device sends request to MS Exchange server 2003 with SP2
- Exchange 2003 holds the request pending until the heartbeat interval expires
- If no e-mail arrives before heartbeat expires, device sends another “Keep Alive” request
- If new e-mail arrives before heartbeat interval expires, Exchange 2003 notifies device that changes have occurred in the mail box
- Device immediately issues sync request to pull e-mail. Upon sync completion, go to step 1
